I talked to a ticket rep yesterday and got the perception I would be able to buy tickets for my interested co-workers in other price ranges. Under 26 hours to go!

Using the seating chart and explanation from the FO
In total if you buy ALL tickets available to you to purchase per season ticket you will have 19 tickets (11 to Madrid and 8 RSL tickets) everything below is based on one season ticket in a corner flag area. It also assumes that you have one admission per season ticket so I am not including the A & B factor in this explanation... ---- Tickets in Section 32 and other corner flag areas(yellow) are $49 each. You can buy 2 at $49 each You can then purchase up to 8 more at $49 each plus one later RSL match at the regular ticket price which is about $25 You can buy tickets in other areas but higher ticket prices apply. Required tickets must be the same as the Real Madrid ticket or higher. For instance You can not buy a VIP seat for the Madrid match and an RSL ticket in the north end. But you can buy a north end ticket for madrid and a VIP ticket for RSL... Hope that makes it as clear as mud for everyone. Last edited by Deuce : 06-08-2006 at 09:08 AM.

Hey, about the whole temporary sod field and everything, does this mean that those of us on the east side are going to get screwed again when they move the benches to the other side of the field? I'd love to here what taunts the RCB comes up with if the benches were on our side, so Madrid guys would have to walk right past the supporters.

I would virtually guarantee that the bench will be on the west side for this game.

Maybe trouble... http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=370257&cc=5901
I was not pleased when I read this today. Real Madrid may play Manchester United on August 8th or 9th. It wouldn't mean that we wouldn't have the game but it would mean that the week build up with activities etc would probably be significantly curtailed.

Unless of course we get them to play here. I'd give up my C and D tickets for that game. Unfortunately, I don't think either game would sell all 45K seats. That's a lot of money in 1 week.

The more I think about it, maybe they won't move the benches. If I recall, CONCACAF requires the boards to be behind the team benches - that would cause an obstructed view for advertisers, who advertise on the East side of the stadium for TV purposes, so the benches had to be moved for the WCQ. The boards have been in front of the benches for every other RSL match, so they should be able to be on either side of the stadium.
