LE Stadium? Works for me if we get high profile games.

Small price to pay.

And if it makes the U think again about replacing their plastic grass with the real stuff . . .

Not likely, but I can still dream.

Will Sierra Mist pay for the space that Budweiser advertising boards otherwise occupy?

I sure hope I can make it down there.

I'll love to be there when the Ultrassuristas start in on their 2nd pack of Fortunas behind the southern goal.

I'd guess the Provo option is more expensive, but with more seats could also be more profitable.

I agree. As Geoff mentioned, it's probably a wash in the end. And as devNull mentioned, public transit isn't an option. But I think the real appeal is marketing RSL in Provo. It's generating some press and excitement in an area that, at least on the surface, would seem to have less competition for entertainment dollars than SLC. And if they're looking at having a stadium in Sandy, surely they're looking to see what they can do to get people from Lehi and Orem to the games. Afterall, they'll be closer than Farmington or Ogden.

Where would you have them play it?

Believe me, I'm no fan of the Bubble, but I just don't see anywhere else that this game could be played and remain in Utah. If anyone has any other suggestions, I'm sure the front office would love to hear them. I'm sure that they would rather keep it in Salt Lake if at all possible themselves.

Sure. If I'm gonna sit in traffic for 75 years, I might as well do it somewhere with an Urban Outfitters.

Why wouldn't LE stadium be the place to do it? It is bigger and it has grass. Being a BYU alumnist I am kinda tired of hearing the Ute fans complain considering that all of Real's games are at their stadium and they travel a relatively short distance to see the games. I drive over and hour and a half from Logan to go to the games at RES and I don't complain about it being the U's stadium. Trust me, I hate the Utes, but I got over it and I have a good time at RES. I am sure people's complaints are legit but they are hard for me to understand.

This is going to sound seriously dumb, but...

Do you have to follow the BYU dress code when attending an athletic event?

I'm being serious.

Ahhhhhh.
The sweet sound of so many donkeys braying out their favorite tune.

I'll never go to Provo. . . . . .They don't have BEER. . . . . .The Coke's don't even have caffeine. . . . . .everyone is so closed-minded down there. . . . . . . . . .
