A little off topic - I'm surprised nobody has commented on the streamers in the Chivas match yet. I never realized how horrible that many streamers looked in the middle of a match, and they were all in front of the goal RSL was attacking. Maybe we should refocus our efforts on keeping the streamers in the stands or throwing them on the pitch before the match (when the team comes on the field?), at half time (when the team exits or returns to the field?), and after the final whistle. Now, confetti cannons behind the goal when we score...

I agree with Beaveman. Streamers in the stands or after the game. Confetti cannon would be sweet. About the weather...luckily I do have a red puffy coat but let's hope the weather changes before the 15th. How accurate are 10 day forcasts anyway?

the 10 day forcast is about as accurate as:

me being able to tell you what the market will do in 10 days, what my kids will do next week, what RSL will do on Saturday, what I will order on Saturday, what my bonus will be next year, how much tickets will increase next year, when my grandpa will die, when my wife will be prego again, when the "are you loyal" blog will post again....

I was going to say the same thing, although... not quite the same way. 🙂

Just saying.

What...are you trying to jinx us?

Don't listen! Don't listen! She didn't say that! We will WIN! We will WIN! We ALWAYS win our home opener!

By the way, you always mention your "wife beater". I don't get it. What are you talking about? Am I just stupid? Don't answer that! But please explain to those of use who, okay I admit it, don't get it.

I kind of like the idea of only throwing streamers directly in front of the opposing teams target goal. jeje

Still a prediction for rain on Sat.

Other factor potentially impacting attendance: Salt Lake Bees AND the Utah Blaze are playing that night. Not to mention any people traveling for Easter weekend.

I would be pleasantly surprised if we were to get 20k for this match.

Can the Bees play in the rain?

What is a "Blaze"?
