Almost. As I recall, Mathis and Williams were both with Metro in 2002. Williams then joined the Fire for 2003 just as Pope moved from DC to Metro. Mathis started with the Galaxy, and Williams has played with the Crew, Fusion (remember them?), and Revs. Pope has only played with DC and Metro. And now RSL has all of them.

Mathis and Pope are also USMNT teammates, but Williams is a Jamaican International.

Not sure about that, but I do know he was a place kicker at UNC for point ball.

Ellinger and Pastorino let Eddie talk yesterday during the teleconference.

I'm sure Trey and Chris will help us out.

Well they're all together now. And we got us a TEAM!

I'm getting excited. Are you getting excited? I'm getting excited.

Is it April YET?

It's good to see these other teams in the west starting to worry about us now.

Soccer still has a way to go in Utah.

I was telling my wife that RSL signed Eddie Pope. She is still upset about Pope's goal against her beloved Jorge Campos in '96.

Another relative heard us talking about him and wondered if Eddie Pope is related to Dan Pope.

I heard the news...ran upstairs...and asked my wife which US national team defender she would like on RSL?

She said "Bocanegra".

I said he's still in Europe and will be there for awhile...

She said "Mastroeni".

I said she is a smart woman and that we would love to have him, but no.

She said "Pope".

I said correct.

She said..."Well, maybe we won't suck this year..." :D
