A Mascot Finally?

I was at the FO today and they had a new little stuffed lion with an RSL shirt on. The only conclusion I can draw from that is they're bringing out the lion mascot this year.

I'm not too happy with the idea of a mascot, but I guess if we ever get one a lion is ok. It's better than some of the other mascots around the league (*cough*Colorado*cough*)

Anyway, I just thought that was rather interesting.

What if we could get a real lion, and then on games that we lost it could 'accidentally' get loose in the opposing teams locker room?

There were 2 or 3 of the stuffed lions around for a while. Once I knocked one behind a shelf and couldn't reach it. Maybe they found it.

Just don't make the poor guy wear a rubber suit when it's 105 in July. (like a previous local mascot)

Like I said, I don't like mascots, but if we have to have one I would rather have something like a lion.

Just be happy your mascot isn't a blue thing or a green blob.
