Real Salt Lake has the second pick and is in desperate need of offense and defense. Real's 30 goals last season were last in the league, while only Chivas yielded more balls in the net. With improvements needed on both sides of the ball, Real Salt Lake is likely to go with one of the talented midfielders in the draft. Seton Hall's Sacha Kljestan seems to be a nice fit, with his size making him more desirable than his counterparts. At 6-foot-1, he has great field vision and is a very good passer. Kljestan will be looked upon to make an immediate impact if he goes to Real Salt Lake, after the team traded midfielder Clint Mathis to Colorado back in December.

Quick Poll...assuming Wynne goes #1, would you rather RSL take Sturgis(D), or Kljestan(MF) with the #2 pick?

I think I'm leaning more towards Sturgis at this point, just because he seems a bit more solid. I DO think, however, that we are more in need of a good attacking midfielder than a defender. But Kljestan isn't a sure thing, and could take awhile to develop, while I imagine that Sturgis would be more apt to be ready to go "out of the box". Tough choice.

Tough choice, but your right Sturgis is ready now and Kljestan might need some time.
However our midfield is woeful.
🙁
