This one is not an RSL sighting but it's soccer. Last night I was flipping through channels and noticed Drew Carey on Jay Leno. I wouldn't have stopped except Drew was wearing a USMNT jersey. He told a funny story about going to the Rangers-Celtic match and also asked the audience if any of them were soccer fans. The audience cheered very loudly! I don't think the Galaxy need to worry!

It was pretty cool.

I saw that too. I thought it was funny because I got the impression that Jay wasn't prepared for him talking about soccer the whole time instead of his Robots movie. Drew is obviously very into soccer now as a recent convert and, like many of us, likes to talk about it. There were a couple of times that Jay seemed uncomfortable and tried to change the subject but Drew kept on. It was really cool to see his enthusiasm and I was able to totally relate to it. I find myself doing the same thing with my friends. I'll start talking about the latest USMNT or RSL news and they'll try and change the subject. ๐Ÿ™‚

I totally forgot about this until now...

I was at Fashion Place Mall last night, and not only did the Fanzz there have the RSL stuff right out in front, but I saw one of their employees outside of the store wearing an RSL scarf.

Finally got to see the kit in person... it's not as claret as I expected.

RSL will be "sighted" on HotTicket 700 (channel 4) Sunday at 10:35. Brian Dunseth and Steve Pastorino will be in studio.

Everybody tune in... odds are I will be doing a lot of consulting for some clueless sports guys over the next few days.

You're right, it's not really claret. More like Bartles & Jaymes Wine Cooler.

So my wife & I pull into the parking lot of the Women's Center.

There's another car there with an RSL Window Cling. (I noticed it the next day, we were a bit busy when we first pulled in.) I'm not sure if it was an employee's car or a patient's car. One of the nurses also vaguely knew about RSL.

We may not be leading MLS in season ticket sales or attendance yet; but give us a couple of years.............

Also:

-2001: My wife was pregnant and the Blitzz won the USL D3 title.

-2004: Montjules was pregnant and my wife was pregnant; and the Blitzz won the PSL title.

So now it's time for someone else to pick up the slack in time for MLS Cup 2005........Dysko? McKid?
