Too bad the Fusion are gone. I like their uniforms.

Does FC Miami have any of that released yet?

So they signed Lowe, eh? I thought other than the ban for the drug dealing / transport that Lowe was doing well in England. Does Miami FC really have that much money to spend?

La Opinion says that Romario might play for Miami?

In additions to Zinho and Diego Walsh (Brazilians), the team boasts players from:

Jamaica
Colombia
Haiti
US
Honduras
Guatemala

Their strategy is to cultivate fans from the grassroots level by tapping into local soccer leaders and unify all the soccer fans in South Florida.

General Manager is Brazilian and former Promotions Manager of Traffic Sports USA, the American branch of Traffic Sports, which owns and organizes South American club tournaments such as the Copa America and Copa Sudamericana.

Head Coach is Brazilian. He debuted with the world famous club Flamengo in Brazil as an offensive midfielder in 1970 at age 16. He played professionally in Brazil for 13 years with clubs such as Flamengo, Fluminense and Bahia.

As a coach, he has discovered and coached the following talent:
Adailton, defender for Rennes (French First Division) and captain of the 2003 Brazilian Youth World Champions.
Dida, starting goalkeeper for the Brazilian National Team and AC Milan (Italian League Serie A)
Dudu, midfielder for the Brazilian National Team and CSKA Moscow (Russian First Division)
Deedee (sorry, couldn't resist)

Asst. Coach is Colombian and has played with Atlético Nacional (Colombia), Toros Neza (Mexico), Atlético Junior (Colombia), Deportes Tolima (Colombia), Independiente Medellín (Colombia) and Necaxa (Mexico). He has 78 caps for his country, including 6 caps in the '90 World Cup.

Claudio Taffarel, starting goalkeeper for 1994 World Cup Champion Brazil, is acting as an consultant to Miami FC.

This club is a great trend for football in the US.

Word has it that he has written into his contract a clause allowing him to carouse on the Miami night-club circuit until just hours before game time.
