I am interested... in taking pictures of all you guys doing this...

I personally could not carry a tune, even if I had a bucket!

You should set it up, then when it comes time to sing it, walk over to the east side and lead the entire side in a huge group national anthem.

I say this because every game there are always a lot people around me that try to sing along with the anthem.

But they can't because it's always some sort of Jessica Simpson copycat routine.

Whatever happens, and whoever sings,

SING IT STRAIGHT!

I've got to say, one of the worst offenders was whoever sung it for the last game of the season. Where we sit (stand, whatever), we are usually able to sing along...but there was no chance of that happening then.

Amen on that. That was terrible. If I had to judge us based on that game alone, I would say that we didn't have a snowball's chance in Hades of ever getting within a hundred feet of a live microphone.

Why do some people feel the need to change our national anthem all around? It's good enough just like it is written. It's the one thing that artistic license should never be granted on.

I blame Rosanne Barr and Ozzy Osbourne (or was that "take me out to the ball game" that Ozzy slaughtered?)
Anyway... people that think they are "artists" should not be allowed anywhere near the National Anthem!

Just talked to the wife.......she's down with this. She said she doesn't have any arrangements of the S 'n S but she could get one if you guys want. But she also recommended the LDS hymnbook version as one of the best 'straight up' arrangements she's heard (she & I agree with you who have said enough's enough with the slaughtering a.k.a. Jessica Simpson-izing of our national anthem).

There's always the arrangment that my group did, but it's mostly a solo and we also don't seem to have even numbers of girls/guys, I think that would be out.

(Wait, did I ever say I wanted to do this? haha)
