I’ve been appointed on the RCB board to spearhead this soccer team. Aero is helping me with this endeavor (huge thank you to Aero).



Just to be clear, this is a soccer club free from supporter affiliation, so please feel free to sign up and join the effort.



That being said:

  • the soccer information should have it’s own area of the board where we can all post.
  • If you want to play, please pm me your email address. I want the info to come from its own newsletter so that those who don’t want to play are free from this information on the Loyalist newsletter.


The intent of this message is not to overstep any boundaries or step on any toes; I just see a lot of information going in different directions. To get this organized, we need to be organized.

You’ll have to sign up to post anything, but if you want your say in the matter, please come help.



Any announcements will be made her on this forum as well so that those who don’t want to play at first and want to play later can see what’s been going on.

I just want to add one more thing. This is by no means a team that we are taking to seriously. We are just a bunch of out of shape guys looking to have a little fun and maybe even improve our health in the process. So please don't worry that you are out of shape or have never touched a soccer ball before. Willingness to have fun and try your best are more important than the shape you are in or the ability you have. So, please come out and play with us.

Also, if you don't think that you want to commit to playing on the "official" team, we will be holding "practices" over the coming months. Anyone at all is welcome to come kick the ball around with us no matter what.

How about we call the team ... 'Loud Crowd FC - LCFC' or 'Salt Lake Loud Crowd FC - SLLCFC' or 'Loud Crowd Salt Lake FC'?

Sorry to have to break it to you this way, but pretty much all but IBIK and I were let go. Budget constraints and all that. 🙂

No, fuegote did some maintenance and tried to change the way people accessed the forum (by taking away mod access but granting regular access to the regulars) and apparently he's taken access away from just about everyone.

I've called him and made him aware of the problem. Shouldn't be very long...sorry!
