And I could say I'll not buy tickets, but I will and then I would just look stupid (or more stupid than I already do...). And I could say I won't support the area (I do have a "Boycott Miller, The Eagle Killer" T-shirt from the last hockey game, remember that Rabble?), but I have been known to go the Mayan to watch those buggers make crazy jumps. And yes the food sucks.

I will go to the new stadium, and damnit I'm going to go loud. And we're going to help make it the best stadium in existence (other than fenway of course). If the newspapers ever ask me for comment, I'll tell them that Sandy was the perfect choice and I will be happy to drive from Davis County to support this badass team.

And P.S. They better build it strong because we are going to rip it down on a weekly basis. It's going to be so crazy that opposing teams will ****e themselves when they step on the pitch. And then we're going to win and party like there is no tomorrow. And finally, since you live close we're going to go torch the houses of anyone you don't like in your neighborhood. Sandy wanted it....well here we come!

Whoa....okay...so maybe I'm going a little far....the players may not really ****e themselves. :signrocko
Now that's what I'm talking about!!!! Except, I like all my neighbors. 😁

C'mon, where's the love?

We will almost be able to walk to Hooters from the stadium.

Sincerely,

-Married guy who has no idea what Hooters is, where it is or why anyone would want to go there. (Or at least that's the story that my wife hears.)

That would take awhile, Hooter's is at 7200 S. only a couple of miles away. TRAX or UTA bus 222 would shorten that a bit.

Talk about the ultimate fan appreciation moment. Man i'm excited for tomorrow. Too bad tomorrow isn't Friday and we all have to be back at work on Thursday.

I was just watching the news on ch. 5, and they referred to the stadium as a 20 thousand. Now, maybe I am just being paranoid but I hope that they are still planning on building 25 range. or have they reduced the capacity to 20 because they plan on putting an evil stage on one end. does anyone have any info on this?

I just talked to the ticket guy - if you can't make it tomorrow afternoon he said they were going to try to have a diagram of it at the game tomorrow night....

There are more restaurants in the South Town area as well as others near 7th E. If you go into Midvale there are some decent ones there. The India House serves decent curry and the Bohemian is a nice brew pub with Eastern European food on 7200 S.
