Splitting

Ok, I know I am new here and new to the Loyalists, but I have been lurking on the outskirts all season. đŸ•ș: I have been debating about where to sit next year so I can order my season tickets. I think that you guys (us guys) have a great group going and it is a blast sitting with you, or near you. I have had a really good time and so has my daughter and my friend. I think it is kind of sad that the two fan groups are going to split up and sit on different sides of the stadium next year. Maybe we can split half our season with one group and the other half with the other??? LOL I guess it might be nice to have both sides of the stadium alive and loud, but... I think its nice to stick together too. I think, since I dont want to pick between the two of you I will just sit in E30 and visit both of you.

Anyone have an idea when the schedule will come out for next year? I think it would be fun to do a road trip to wherever the first game is.

OHOHOHOH...and just wondering if a bunch of people would like to great RSL home this Sunday afternoon at the airport. Im gonna be dropping a friend off anyway. Let me know if anyone else is interested....

I know I’ve said it before, and both groups know, I don’t think that the supporter’s corner should be split up. Especially after the last game, the presence was amazing and I think splitting the group in two is a bad idea.

Whether you like or don’t like members of the other groups that’s not what it’s about. At the games it’s about supporting the team and I think the best way to do that is together.

Oh well, I guess the decision is already made.

Don't stray too far from your corner

or else you'll track into 37 territory.

Then we'll have to fight. We'll fight you, I swear it.

Picture a sarcasm smiley here.

RCB has already decided they're moving, I think, so it's not really an issue.

Last week my friends and I spent the second half of the game sitting over by the southeast corner. It seemed like section 37 had as many, or more, fans standing up and cheering over there. And the band up at the top was way louder than the E32 et al drummers and cowbellers are. And there were tons of people standing up making noise down below them.

So in other words, it's easy to think that the Loyalists/RCB are theonly ones being loud and getting involved, but other parts of the stadium are into the game as much or more so. If Section 37 was GA, I think I'd sit with them because I love being that close to the team.

By the way, the Front Office wanted the Loyalists to move closer to the center and were willing to displace season ticket holders to make it happen. But people decided they wanted to stay in the corner, which is too bad, I think. The FO has supported us tirelessly and asked very little in return. It wouldn't kill people to spend $80 more to get the seats the coach and FO would like us to have.

No one is saying that we’re the only ones cheering. I guess I just like the idea of a “Section 8” type thing and it looks like it’s never going to happen.

Sure it will. I'll take over the RCB's old spot and create the "Housewives for Cletus" club to fill in that space. It'll be wildly popular and I'll start charging $500 membership fees just to bankroll my gas money up to games.
