Good point. $80 x 10 = NO SOCCER GAMES for the 8's.

Maybe we could also say the same thing about people that only bought half a season's worth of tickets. It also wouldn't have killed them to upgrade to a full season ticket and come to all of the games like the FO and coach would like us to have done. I think when those people actually buy a full season ticket, especially when they only need one and not a whole family's worth, then they can start complaining about others not being willing to spend an extra $80 per ticket. There are lots of reasons why people did what they did. I don't think that we should be calling anyone out for supporting the team however they chose to do it, isn't that right? __________________ An empty stomach is not a good political advisor. I bought half a season's tickets because I was pregnant with twins at the time. I consider myself very committed for making it to as many games as I have, considering my current family situation. I'm not "calling anybody out" particularly.

I think we are in a good spot for several reasons.
First, you gotta love how close we are for the corner kicks. Priceless. I also love giving the opposing players the business when they run by to warm up. Second, we are close enough to everyone in the north end that I think we have an influence on them. I think they sometimes feed off our energy which is good for the club since alot of North Enders may be there to "check out" the game and bought the cheapest tickets. We may be converting some of them to soccer. Next, the price is right. We aren't in the expensive section, and we aren't in the cheapest section. (I at one point was going to suggest we move to the cheapest section once gas prices started to rise but I thought I would just let things be. Every dollar counts these days it seems.) Finally, the corner gives me a warm feeling. Kind of like that blanket that just came out of the dryer.

As for costs. An extra $80 X 4 is a significant amount of money - but that doesn't mean that I haven't supported the team financially despite going with the $18 per game seats instead!! In fact, I believe my family and I have easily spent over $1,000 this season on RSL. And I'm sure there are many Loyalists/RCB members who have done similiarly - and on a tight budget! I think the FO will be happy with RCB moving over to 38 alongside 37 to have the added vocal support behind the team benches, and will also be happy with the Loyalists remaining nearer to the north end. __________________

I know that I speak for myself and some of the other fans in Section 37, but we don't want print outs of chants. There are the simple RSL ones that we like. Our main objective is to give the opposing team a hard time.
Bring stuff and pass it out. The yellow cards are provided every game by one specific fan. He pays for it, but makes sure everyone participates. The front row provided hundreds of streamers throughout the season out of our own pockets. We just passed them out and it caught on. We like that we are noticed, but I am not so sure the chants would be a hit. We are excited to have RCB close by because we have one particular person that has become a great friend and asset to Section 37. Thanks Man.
