This option was presented before the start of this season and, as I recall, I was one of the only persons willing to anty up...

I sure hope Cletus is still here next year, or....

Instead of moving....just work on spreading the enthusiasm. The 1st goal of any support group is to get the whole stadium up and chanting right? Well, get all the current support groups together and decide on some chants, print the changts on paper and pass them out at the games, the FO may even front the cost for that. Better yet talk with them to display the words and tunes on the jumbo screen.
It will sound messy at first, but after a while, it will sound awesome. Try not to think that those that don't officially join a group don't want to be a part. I sit in Section 35, row 10 and when I start cheering, singing, heckling, there are a bunch a folks that join with me.
So, what that means is let it spread, no moving necessary. Get the whole stadium going. I think it's great what all the groups are doing. Just think of other ways to involve as most people as possible.

...or I'll have to get a new name for my little club. Hiba pointed out she can't join if it's housewives, so I'll name it: "Women For Dreamy Keepers Knitting Club Foundation"

Oh man, even I gagged at that one.

What the heck does that stand for, anyway? 🙂 We'll give you free membership if you'll be the club knitting supervisor. I don't knit, so you already have your work cut out for you!
