👍

I don't care as long as we win the RMC! I don't want to have to hand over that beautiful trophy to the C-Rapids fans. I want THEM to hand it over to US.

As for the rest, experiment away.

They have Metrotards and the cRapids
Yes, but even if they win 1, I don't think Ellinger will let the RMC get away on the 12th. I doubt his line-up tinkering will include that last game. He knows how important it is to the fans that we take home that trophy this year. I think both he and the team will put forth a monumental effort during that game which will lead to us keeping that trophy warm here in Salt Lake throughout the cold winter!

Do you know what would really steam me, though? Is if the CRapids lay down for the Chivas on purpose just to stick it to us!!!!

I would want to be the ref for this one cos you know that ref is going to get some serious "gift-age" from both teams....

Long live justice and equity!

Given that 2nd place is in our reach (If we win out worst case scenario is we'll end up in a tie with Dallas for 2nd place) we won't be laying down for Under-a-Chivas (TM nowar99). Of course for the same reason there's no way you're winning the Rocky Mountain Cup. You'll be lucky to get points out of that game, much less the 2 goal win you need to win the Cup.

Oh yeah? Well.... uhhh.... we'll see. (Dang. Someone else come up with a witty retort. I'm all out.)

Actually, that's exactly what he told Bill Riley. Looking at it from an optimistic point of view, I say that because players know they're playing for their job, they will play harder and I'm going to go out on a limb and predict a road win against San Jose.

San Jose already has first place locked up, but they are leading the supporter's shield competition for a reason. All those guys are on the same page and know their roles.

I would love to be optimistic, but I really see us ending the season with no road wins. I hope I'm wrong, but....

😳

San Jose will be missing four players due to USMNT callups; I believe that's the most of any MLS team this time around. Could this be the small crack in the door for us?

Well, Andy will be back and maybe it's too much to hope for, but Clint might show up this time too... this could be our shot! Then again, I feel like I have to talk myself into saying that everytime we play on the road. Still, it feels nice to be optimistic.

But answering the question, no, I think we'll finish ahead of Chivas, and not at the very bottom of the league.

(With any luck.)
