Is there a CRapids forum out there somewhere?

Just wondering, since their supporters keep showing up here.

Don't get me wrong--all opinions are welcome.

But I would have thought that a team with ten glorious years of MLS play might have its own fan forum by now.

Anyone?

Fan Forum? Your joking right?
They are still trying to figure out what a supporters club is.

Actually, sadly, outside of BigSoccer we don't. We had one on the Rapids official site for the first half of our existance, but the team decided to close it down.

And to be honest, the reason I'm here is to keep an eye out for any Rocky Mountain Cup questions and to promote the Cup. Tweaking you guys is just an added bonus. 😉 Must suck to lose to us, then see us go on the road and do what you couldn't, namely beat Chivas for the 3rd time...

I don't mind losing...
As Cat would say... We look Goooooooooood!

Beating Chivas is easy... our only crime was giving them hope!
We all know that if it were not for RSL and Chivas this year that those boring sorry cRapids would be watching the playoffs on TV.

But don't get too comfortable... enjoy your success while it lasts cos RSL will look even better winning next season....

The food is better at Iggy's .. and I agree .. no cigarette smoke, that's enough to convince me any day of the week and twice on Saturdays. It bugs me that RSL alienates families bu holding the events at Lumpy's, and giving the only other option as a horriblly expensive meal that tastes awful, at Skybox where the staff don't care and actually ask you to keep your children quiet (yes it happened to me).

For a family sport you would think they would provide an option, or at least pretend to give a damn.

From my perspective in the stands it was not obvious that your player was injured, it looked like a bad pass. Seeing on TV later that night made it more obvious.

Even so, he wasn't down on the field right away, which is the general signal for a player who needs medical attention. That's what playing the ball out when a player is injured is for, so that they can get needed medical attention. If you're on your feet you have to be considered still in the game, otherwise "faking" an injury to disrupt an opponents attack would be too easy. It appears he's starting to go to the turf after Cooke goes by him with the ball, but at that point how is Cooke supposed to know that he's down?

This is MUCH different from Romo's behavior both against the Rapids and RSL, and anyone comparing the two is really doing a dis-service to the Rapids and Terry Cooke.

I must say .. with a lump in my throat for agreeing with you ha ha ha ... that i tend to agree. I don't think Cooke is a dirty player, I actually think that he is exactly the type of player that we miss at RSL, passion, guts, physical and 100% effort, before it's a do or die situation.

Scholesy, you hit it on the head, we too are disappointed that Iggy's is not advertised with RSL for watch parties but Lumpy's is. I am sure Lumpy's is a "nice" establishment if that environment is what you are looking for. But many of us do have kids and like our kids to join us. At Iggy's, we have the whole back room all to ourselves and can cheer and hoop and holler as much as we want. Skybox is completely HORRIBLE! The food is horrible and prices are outrageous and the service has been ABSOLUTELY ROTTEN the few times we have gone. You will always find us at Iggy's, whether we have kids with us or not :dancing:

First of all, I'm giving you rep for the Red Dwarf reference. If you look at the standings, it may very well be LA that gets the benefit of having RSL and Chivas in the West, not Colorado. If Colorado wins all 4 of it's remaining games then they will be in 3rd place and LA in 4th.

The problem is that there is a history with Iggys - the older of the owners alledgedly (spelling) said something that was undoubtedly innappropriate and so they stopped talking, but I know Dave at Iggys and he is a stellar chap. I honestly don't care too much if they don't promote it, money always plays a part in everything. I would go to Iggys either way.
