Why postpone the inevitable?

Someone should change the name of this thread to "RSL - Zopilotes de Houston (R)"

Anyone been to practice lately that can confirm whether or not Cabrera has begun practicing at full speed? Would love to see all three newbies make the plunge into RSL history this weekend.

I was wondering the same thing. I miss the reports from the practice sessions. You all spoiled me.

Good Luck RSL--can't catch the game as we are taking my brother to college. I'll have to read everyone's reports when we get back!!!!!

he stated to a guatemalan station (deportiva la red) that he was ready to go and just waiting for ellinger to give him the ok. maybe coach sees something he doesn't? He was quoted as saying he hoped to get in saturday but hadn;t received confirmation from coach

I have been to all of the RSL practices for the past several weeks... I would give reports but I am not as eloquent as Utah_Heretic.

Cabrera is practicing at full speed with the team as is Gregorio and Scarlett.

After seeing practice today there is a good chance that we may see all three in one form or another this weekend.

OK, now you HAVE to tell us a little bit more! Do they look sharp? Is Scarlett playing midfield or fullback? Is Cabrera playing centrally or laterally? Do they seem to be meshing well with the rest of the team?

Also, is it their performance which makes you think that we may see them all at one point or another, something a coach said or were they practicing with the first teamers... what leads you to say this?

It would be exciting news if they look sharp and are taking well to the system already.

I reported earlier this week that Scarlett and Gregorio were a potent left side combination. Gregorio and Cabrera appear to be working mostly right this week.

Although it is too early to tell for sure what the line up for saturday could be.
Cabrera was working with the first teamers and is looking very sharp. He was playing in the spot of Dunseth today.

Scarlet is extremely fast... he was playing left back today behind trembly and Watson.

I thought Gregorio/Scarlett looked much better than Cabrera/Gregorio.
It appears that Gregorio is equally confident playing left or right.

That is from memory... I will endeavor to take notes in future.

Cabrera and Gregorio seem to be blending well into the team but Scarlett may be a bit more of a transition period.

Tough week. Looking forward to the match and putting my stress and troubles aside for a few hours. (Nothing like a good soccer match to make me forget my problems.) See you all tomorrow.
