Where are all the Loyalists?

Our section last night was pathetically sparse. Where is everybody? We need help to keep crowd atmosphere going. We need everyone to show up next week, as our fearless leader will not be able to attend, thus subtracting two drums from the group. Please come help us out next week and bring a loud, obnoxious friend or two to help create atmosphere.

It was so bizarre last night, I couldn't believe that it was that empty, if there were 10,000 I'd be shocked (despite the official attendance being 12,000).

I understand that, but that was not a normal occurrence and we need to rebuild our numbers very quickly.

All the drama drove me away. I stayed home and played games with my family. I'd rather be somewhere where I feel loved and appreciated than somewhere that I feel attacked, belittled and unwanted anyday. Who would blame me? I'll probably be there next week, however, because I love the team and want to cheer them on.

C'mon Jules, the forum is the only place where people are made to feel that way. I don't believe the section has ever been that way, although I do understand the banner confrontation would make people a bit uneasy. That situation has been solved, and will not happen again.

It will be good to have your voice in the chorus, bring friends.

Why would I want to take four hours (absolute minimum) away from my family to be with people who ridicule me and criticize me? You want me to put on a happy face and pretend like everybody loves me? I'm not Raymond. More like the counterpoint. I love coming to the games, and I'll come and be friendly with the people who don't mind me, but I still reserve the right to get sick of the drama every few weeks and take a breather. I am positive I'm not the only one who feels this way. Several names come to mind.

So bring your family.

I had a feeling before the game that the attendance wasn't going to be very high. I think alot of people are out doing other family things before school starts and soccer may not be on their mind.

Also, Kansas City may not be high on their list of teams to see.

I think the DC United and Colorado games should have better turn outs. Cooler weather, Freddy Adu, and the possibly of things coming down to the wire for a playoff spot should make things more appealing.

Jules, I know you are not the only to stay away. But it looked like you guys were having a good time at the Chivas game, weren't you?

Also, something that has been weighing heavily upon my soul lately,

There are only 7 more home games! (5 league games and 2 friendlies, and possibly more if we can make it into the playoffs.)

Let's all keep in mind how especially cold the winter is going to be this year without ReAL games to go to. I suggest we all take advantage while we can!
