My wife merely tolerates my sports obsessions. I did talk her into the qualifier, but if I ever get her or my daughter to Iggy's I will be rather shocked. I talked her into family season tickets for Aggie football, so perhaps it is just a matter of time.

She may be like my wife. She isn't a big sports fan at all, but I talked her into going to the first game. And she loved it. We are now going back to the second game and she wants to sit in our section this time. Maybe when you get her to the WCQ game you will convert her when she sees how much fun it is.

My wife is actually coming to Iggy's tomorrow which is something I thought would never happen. So, keep the faith and eventually you will convert her. 🙂

You should. That just might work.

She told me that she may come along for a few watch parties. Her love affair with the food at Iggy's will win out over her dislike of the beautiful game.

Hello everyone! I just joined the forum and thought I'd come over and introduce myself. My name is Kristen, I'm 20, live in So Cal and have been following soccer as long as I can remember. My dad, Rich or Rover to everyone here, has been on this forum for months and I finally decided I should come over too. I don't have quite the same level of tactical knowledge as he does, but hopefully I'll be able to contribute in my own small way. 🙂

As a sidenote, my user name refers to Hermey, the elf who wanted to be a dentist, from the old Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer cartoon.

Hey guys -- I'm setting up a separate forum for the purpose of bashing Rover. Wouldn't want his child to see all the badmouthing happen on this forum. I'll PM details to whomever might be interersted.

He's that popular, huh? An entire forum dedicated to Rover bashing? 😲

Great. Bashed at home, bashed in the forum. Is no place safe?

Welcome aboard, Kristen!
