My name is Dave and I am an alcoh... oh wait wrong forum.

No really nice to have all the new people jumping on board... just as long as you aren't looking for a band wagon... because this is one ride that doesn't let people jump off...

Soccer is an addiction.

Homer Simpson once said, "I am rage-aholic. I am adicted to rage-ahol."

So to alter that slightly...

My name is Dave and I am a soccerholic... I am addicted to soccer... and if you ever catch me trying to quit... shoot me at least twice.

Hi, my name is RSL Punk, and I wanna be Cleatus.

Well, except for the massive tattoo. Someone needs to explain that to me. Not why, but what it means, you know?

But I loved the home opener, and am relieved that buying season tickets has now been officially justified. If you need me, I'll be down in the north goal, yelling at the opposing keeper. 😎

πŸ’¬ Introduction

I joined up just after the home opener. What can I say, I was totally pumped after that game!!!

I'm really excited that RSL is here. I don't have season tickets (and may not be able to justify them to my wife until next year), but hope to make it to one home game a month. Already going to the June 4th extravaganza. Bringing 12 other people with me - got seats just behind the Loyalists section so that should be awesome!! My wife is slowly becoming a convert.

I'm 31, living in Sandy, and working for a small software company downtown SLC. I'm married for 7 years with 2 3/4 children. My oldest is 8 and my youngest is 6. My oldest played a little indoor soccer last year and did really well. We want to sign them both up for soccer this year, but found out that Sandy has their own deal going and isn't affiliated with the Utah Youth Soccer Association - which kinda sucks, because we already missed the deadline for the summer leagues. So now we have to sign up in South Jordan or someplace. I digress...

Totally stoked to be a part of this!! Looking forward to meeting some of you before the games.

Welcome aboard Aerick! Interesting name. I like it. It has a certain ring to it. πŸ™‚

If you want to meet a few of us, show up at Iggy's downtown Sat night to watch our team clobber Dallas. It's a lot of fun.

Thanks for the invite, but it's doubtful I'd be able to leave the kids with the wife and do that. I'll be there in spirit.

Bring them along. I'm bringing my kids. And the wife is thinking about it. She is in the same boat your wife is in, slowly being converted.

Although, if you can't make it, we'll look forward to meeting you down the road.

Are you two related somehow? The name similarity is a little spooky.

Nope. Not that I know of anyway.

I don't think so. Probably just a coincidence. I've been using this "Internet" name since the mid-90's. I'm sure Aero is the same way.

It was actually my nickname in high school so I've been using it since the mid-80's. The one bad thing is that I'm no longer on top of the "who's online" list anymore. I have to get used to that now. πŸ˜‰
