Two things:

1) I sold 4 of my good faith tickets already, now I'm just trying to get rid of the other 4...

2) When I was at the FO yesterday with Glenn, Dave, and Hiba, Chris Keeney mentioned that KC had sold between 300 and 400 tickets. Between the Loyalists and RCB, we've sold 200 (barring any sales that occurred yesterday late afternoon and evening). That means we have to, at the very minimum, sell all 100 of our current consignment, and then go back and get around a 100 more to sell to beat KC. That's a lot of tickets!! In order to do so, we're going to need to ADVERTISE. We need a few well placed signs - hopefully using some of the poster board that a few people are bringing, and perhaps even one or two people at the ticket windows, either holding signs or actively evangelizing. The signs should have few enough letters to be readable from all over, yet effectively get people over to the tailgate to buy tickets - something like: "Lots of 1/2 Off Tickets" or "200 1/2 Off Tickets"

Yes, we need people who are loud and proud to get out there and sell those tickets!! Considering the number of walk ups, I really think we can do it if we get the message to people.

I don't have a final tally yet, but we sold out our alotment of game day tickets and I snagged a few more. I have a meeting Monday with Chris Keeney, when I hope to be able to get a final tally... we did well on the last minute stuff. Next time we need to do as well on the early stuff, but we have definately learned some stuff from this go around.

AWESOME NEWS!!!! I was really concerned because we didn't have any signs, and I didn't see a lot of traffic coming down to the tailgate.

That's great, I was getting worried with no one out there selling tickets so close to gametime.

So does this mean that we have 100 more to get to 750?..or just to win...
Awesome job!! There were people walking up to the tailgate last minute with flyer in hand wanting to buy tickets. Kudos to you.

Any news?

405 total from both groups.

That breaks down like this... The Loyalists sold 354 fricken tickets... (If I missed on my count for RCB(51) feel free to correct me).

We did awesome and are still waiting confirmation from the league, but I believe this makes us the best fans in the League (thus far) with no ballot stuffing invloved.

It was 350... and it was KC.

Still not enough to keep them from becoming the Tulsa Tornados next year though.
