Did anyone else notice how the game turned around once Brown was in there? I wasn't happy that he was not a starter, but i sure was glad to see him. He is consistent but not flashy which makes him a secret weapon.

I've been saying all week how disappointed I was to hear that Trembly was starting instead of Brown. He's always been one of my favorite players.

I guess I was WAY off about the heat. They showed the temp on the field and it was 118 degrees. I don't think I would want to be down there....OK maybe

The heat was blistering down there... It actually felt good to come up into the stands... it was about 20-30 degrees hotter on the field and it was not just from the sun... My feet were so hot that I had to constantly keep them moving... it was miserable down there.

I nearly passed out once but Taylor saved me with some very cold water at the best possible moment.... Thanks Taylor...

We stayed around after the game for photos with the players, all of whom were gracious and friendly. Special thanks to Clint Mathis for being there too despite his unscheduled departure from the game.

Thanks again to everyone--it all made for a memorable day that we hope to repeat as soon as possible.
I wish I was able to meet you! Where were you sitting/standing during the game? Were you at the tailgate?

Did anyone watch the ESPN video of the skirmish when Mathis was ejected?
The announcer introduced it as “Hostility in the MLS between Chivas USA and Real Madrid.”

I didn't notice that, but I did like the comment "Romo is doubly stupid. We caught him faking it on TV (faking being hit by Mathis), and he tried to get someone with a red card kicked out". Or something...
