This game is on KSL channel 5 right? It's too bad that the local channel chose a bunch of crappy games to cover:

RSL @ KC
RSL @ SJ
RSL @ COL

Anyone who forms their opinion of MLS games from watching these 3 will think that nobody gets more than 6,000 fans at the games.

ANYHOO

I think the analysis above is pretty good. I hope to be pleasantly surprised with a draw.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to that. My seat is sec. 101 row 9 which looks like it should be close to the visitors bench so I'm hoping to give 'em props. Maybe DJ will toss me his gloves for being the lone Loyalist. 👏 Now I don't know whether to wear my Loyalist shirt or my jersey...

We've been migrating to an MSN chat thingee for games and such. I guess most people will be at Iggy's, but I'm very ill (pity me) and plan to be at home waiting for the antibiotics to kick in and feeling sorry for myself.

However, my computer and TV are not in compatible locations. So maybe I'll look for you at halftime and/or after the game.

Montgjules, I hope you feel better soon. Sounds like you could use a laptop and WiFi in the house. 🙂

Although we lost (3-2), I think work by Cila, Trembly and Laser Luke were nice.
I think Watson did well except he pissed me off by wasting too much time when Kreamy was trying to do the CK.
Overall more entertaining game, but some old result.

Broome played and got carded immediately. That was nice. 🙂

Concur. Some good work by Brown as well.

So we were better, but moral victories aren't enough.

And we continue to supply the world of soccer with examples of how not to defend.

Ball watching was the error of the day.

OBTW, think FCD will be ready next week?

That's true, but at least the team was actually in this game. They could well have come away with a tie, which is more than they could said for their game against Cheetos. Maybe my opinion is clouded by my low expectations as of late, but I'm trying to keep a positive attitide.

Can't argue with you there at all. Ball watching was a definite problem.

I'm hoping no, but that's probably just wishful thinking. FCD is due for having a bad game, right?

Got both, but the laptop starts smelling bad when it's on. I guess when we took it apart to fix stuff, something got messed up. Oh well.

My MOTM nominations are either Trembly or Brownie. Someone go start a thread for that so I don't have to do it. I still feel like :censored: :pissed: :dots:

We scored 2 goals on grass! Away from home! Against a Bob Gansler-coached team!

KC fans owe us big-time. With the prospect of facing a back line that would be benched on an AYSO Under 8 Reserve Team, KC temporarily stopped playing Bunker Ball.
