I probably won't show up, but I'd like to suggest that any one of the Cottonwood Canyons be on the route. Or Millcreek. Or, my personal favorite, the North Ogden Divide. Or Eaglewood Drive. And just to be fair, he can pick either going up or coming down. But if he picks coming down, he can't go slower than 40.

Of course, I'd personally be happy to see him take the Grand Tour of Bountiful by heading north on 89, up 500 North to the temple, then south on Bountiful Blvd and finally down either Eaglewood or Eagleridge and back to the beginning. And then do it again a couple of times a day for 21 days. Sheesh.

Only 40... come on... Lance gets up into the 70 range coming down those mountains. If he is going to accept the challenge... hold his feet to the fire. I would love to do the ride with the guy just so that I can make fun of Graham non-stop for two days strait. Then I can remind him how much trouble he had for the rest of his life.

When is this challenge going to take place?

From what JLL said, it sounds like tomorrow. Maybe Saturday?

And really, though, if you're a HummerII-driving airbag, used to having a couple tons of metal around you, 40 seems REALLY FAST when it's just you and a few ounces of styrofoam protecting your noggin, and supercool spandex underpants the only thing between you and the road. I refer you again to the above photo of Dave Z after the Fall. But it WOULD be awesome to require higher speeds. Some of those roads get a little hairy the faster you go. I know I always forgot about the second hairpin on the NO Divide until I was on it--it's banked backwards, too. Nothing like feeling your rear tire start to slide, then all of a sudden be leaning the other way into the next turn. Damn I was crazy in high school (this was before helmets were "cool" and "mandatory"). I'll probably never do that again. :whistling

Really? Cool--there's nothing like having 18-wheelers zoom past you to put the fear of God in you. I'd also suggest Spanish Fork Canyon--I HATE that canyon. Most canyons in Utah you can go faster down than up (funny thing, that gravity), but SF Canyon's the only place I've ever gone faster up than down (tailwind vs. headwind). Plus the traffic sucks.

Lance is out of yellow, Dave Z quit....Chivas 5-1. It's a good thing my life doesn't revolve around sports. I'm still going back to bed, though. Wake me when there's good news.

I didn't see this! Why did Dave quit? I know his injuries were bothering him....I hate to see him out of it.

Doesn't matter that Lance is out of yellow right now. If he's not in yellow Wednesday night I'll get a little concerned.
