I have a bunch of PVC pipe that could be used for flag poles if anyone is interested. If so, I could bring them to the next meeting. Let me know. I have a metric ton of pipe and would appreciate people helping me get rid of it.

Jason!

I could use two 5-6 foot peices.. One for my flag(Czar Jake made it...WAY COOL!) and one for the Stars and Stripes!

You got it. Any word on length restrictions?

What size are most of your flags? 3'x5'?

That's a great design. I really like it. I thought about doing something similiar except with a totally blue background and the letters their original colors.

Thanks... I don't know what sizes are acceptable for poles!

My USA flag is 3x5 and the Red & Blue Chequered flag is about 2.5x4

I am going to do something like my hometown on the flag I don't know... I will try a couple of different things before I decide tho!

Cool. I'll bring you a couple of pieces 5'-6' long. I have roughly about 15 20' pieces sitting in my garage from last years' sprinkler redesign. (I apparently grossly mismeasured) 🙂 I can't remember the diameter. Either 1" or .75". If anyone else want any, just let me know before next meeting and I'll bring them with me. I'll just cut them all 5'-6' and if the stadium folks introduce restrictions, you can just cut them down to size.

One thing I've been thinking to myself... I wonder how the other attendees are going to react to the flags. Especially the flags outside the supporters section. I'm not sure they're going to fully appreciate them blocking their view. Just me thinking out loud...

As I was about to drift off into napland this afternoon, I was thinking, "I should make myself a cape flag. A flag cape...." I was thinking I could make a flag/cape to wear and then just untie it and wave it in the air when I want to.

But the more I think about that, the more nerdy it sounds. So maybe I won't do that. Any thoughts?? 😕

You can get PVC pipe at any local hardware store like Home Depot or Lowe's. I don't remember off the top of my head what the diameter is. It's either 1" or 3/4". I'll have to check when I get home.
