Hey everyone, I had so much fun with the scarf designs, I thought I'd try some flags too... Feel free to post your designs as well

oh you bastard! Im spending all morning trying to finish up my scarf designs and now you throw flags at me! My wifes gonna be pissed im gonna be hanging out with my girlfriend (computer) all weekend 🙂

EDIT: I like the king of spades flag! good job!

Well I decided this one I could make myself, so I bought the fabric and made two of these today, but the squares are a bit bigger... Anyway I think they turned out pretty well, despite being a first-timer at the sewing machine!

Hey Czar, how big did you make the flag? And what are you going to use for the pole, plastic pipe?

I want to make a huge flag, queen or king bed sheet size. I wonder if I'll be allowed to take in though.

The flags I made were not THAT big, I think about 1 Yard by 60 inches if I remember right. I haven't figured out the pole yet, but I'm thinking if I can find a good plastic pipe then that will work best.

Hopefully we can all somehow come up with one of those giant banners before the season starts, you know the kind that are so big you have to sort of pass the edge upwards until it unfurls over a whole section of seats? We could look very cool in our home opener with one of those, maybe persuade some curious TV viewers to come out to the stadium next game... That would probably have to be worked out through Loyalist officials. Loyal1 what is your take on that?

I've thought of that as well. The only team I've really see do that is Columbus, they have a replica of their black home jersey. The thing is huge though.

What we would need to do is someday have someone take us into RES and let us measure our section. If its doesn't work out where we could make one big enough to cover up our entire section or due to the shape of the section, (less seats per row as you make your way down to the field), we could make one to cover up the middle of the section. Maybe with king size bed sheets, 4 sheets across and 4 sheets high, something like that.

Next meeting though, I'm going to bring in a video tape I have that has some of the Roma Lazzio derby. It shows both Roma fans and Lazzio fans unfurlling their huge banners so everyone can see what we are talking about.
