What kind of material is that made out of?

Ha ha yeah that's leisure suit material. ...and human hair.

No really I went into some fabric store and I was like "Uhh... I need some material that's sort of flaggy. Flaggish."

The Lady replied "You mean for a flag?"

I answered "No lady for a friggin tea-cozy. What do I look like?"

The Lady showed me some plasticky material and I asked the price.

"6.49" she said. I stared at her blankly.

"Per..... yard?" I ventured.

"Yes, of course!" She was shocked at my inexperience in the fabric world. I bought a yard of red and a yard of blue, and made two flags out of it.

So to answer your question, it's some sort of polyesterish plasticky flaggish material.

Well it worked just fine for me! Just ask for material you can make a flag out of. They know what they're doing.

Hmm. I think I'll leave out the part about the tea cozy, though. No need to confuse the issue. 😉
