Streamers are okay to throw on the field! we spoke with one of the field security guys and he came up to us, while picking up a streamer and said, "This stuff is okay to throw on the field."
We asked him to carify multiple times and he kept saying, after a goal you can throw streamers on the field, after a goal, not in anger. that being said, let's start operation streamer. (i hate it when other stuff is thrown on the field, but i can assume they were chivas fans because it was about the time they got the red card).

Okay, I'm bringing streamers for the Chicago game. Did he mention if streaking is okay too? Err...uh...nevermind.

Did he say anything about writing fanfic? Is that okay?

That's great that we can throw streamers, but we absolutely have to get people to stop throwing other stuff onto the field. That just can't happen. It has happened now in just about every home game. I know that no one here would be stupid enough to do it, but we have to police others. If you see someone throw something on the field, tell them to stop. If you see someone do it twice call security. We need to put a stop to that type of stuff now before we get a reputation as a crowd that throws stuff on the field.

Streamers We've been throwing streamers since the SJ game and no one has said anything. In fact last night one of the streamers we threw only partially streamed over the RSL bench so one of the trainers handed it back to us to use again.

That was during the red card moment, i'm sure some of the crap thrown was from Chivas fans.

Well, if they are Chivas' fans then call security on them the first time they do it. We especially can't have fans of other teams making us look bad. It is our responsibility to stop it from happening no matter who does it.

The hard part is where we sit, there's no one infront of us to catch...we need to put out the message in a chant before the game starts.

Unfortunately much of it came from the supporters down in section 33 including 2 mini soccer balls and at least one one of those plastic noise makers that look like soccer balls attached to a handle. I have seen debris thrown out of the supporters area during the last 3 matches (including the lighter that struck SJ's Waibel a few matches ago and if it doesn't stop I fear our crowd, in particular the south east cheering section is going to get a bad reputation because of the actions of a few careless over-agressive fans. There is a lot of talk around the league about how loud, boisterous, and knowledgable our crowd is and many opposing players and coaches are saying they enjoy playing in such an enthusiastic atmosphere. Let's build a postive reputation by being loud, cheering, singing, waving flags, etc. but no matter how heated things get on the pitch due to inconsistent officiating, bad sportsmanship by the opponent, or other frustrating behavior, let's please refrain from throwing debris (other than the streamers of course) onto the playing field and encourage others to do the same.
