I had a suggestion that I thought we could work on for the next few games as well. Coordinated hand motions would be cool. Think of how impressive it looks in Atlanta when the entire crowd is doing the tomohawk chop. Now, for the chant Dadof3 mentioned above, I've seen a few different people doing a few different things, but if we decided on a standard movement, we could impress in the same way. When we all yell "Real", I've seen MrStucki punch a fist in the air, which I usually do as well. I've seen Jake hold his arms in a V, which I've tried too. But nobody else seems to do anything. Can we start making one of these two options the standard for this chant? Thats something that the rest of the crowd can get into really easy.

What do you think?

It's hard while beating a cowbell, playing a trumpet or drums....but i agree 100%

If only we could get the stadium to follow along, that would be great.

I agree we should all do the same. I go with the fist because it is easier for me to do while bouncing.

There were several chants that you guys did that started to spread. Maybe you should go for 15-20 seconds longer to get the crowd more involved. just a thought

That moment when the whole crowd chanted REAL after the Kreis goal was chillin... (in a good way, you know like goose bumps, chillin!)
It started in the Loyalist section but just kept building and building!

I was on the field and the hair on the back of my neck stood up and I nearly misted up... it was beautiful man!!!

Did anyone else notice on that chant (which I love, by the way - easily the most energizing of any of the cheers, for me), that in between each "ReAL", you could hear a bunch of people around the stadium yelling in rhythm "Salt Lake"? Not sure if that was by design, but it got stronger every time the chant was started. Sounded pretty cool.

If the beat was:
bum da da bum da da bum, then "Salt" was yelled on the first "bum", and "Lake" on the second

edit: by the way, I'm not suggesting we adopt it -- that might sound lame. But letting the rest of the crowd fill that in sounds pretty sweet...

That actually started toward the end of the Smurfquakes game, I think I like it.

I believe that it too originally started in the Loyalist section. It's good to hear that it has spread through the stadium. And I heard it quite clearly on the broadcast, too. It sounded great. I really like this particular one too.

I don't know what it is called but when we sing Real over and over like in English games, we should shout Salt Lake before we start the tune over again.

I hope that actually made sense.

PS It would be easier to sing than explain. Perhaps before the game.
