Midweek games have never drawn well in MLS. That's why they're so rare now. Old timers can remember a set of midweek games every week. The league made a push a couple of years ago to limit midweek games because the clubs, players, and fans didn't want them.

I'd expect the crowd to be down a bit, but still healthy by MLS standards.

Wednesday's game isn't on my mini-plan, but I'm going to the Star Wars premier anyway. I'll be listening to 1280 while waiting in line though!

I will be there for sure and may be bringing a work colleague that has really wanted to see a live match... I am not to sure this will be the best one as far as atmosphere... I hope we can create a great one and continue to attract new fans.

I hope we can (we meaning you guys, as I won't be there :D ), as I have a co-worker who is going to the game on Wednesday - his first - with his brother from Maine. If he gets into it enough, he may pounce for some season tix as well.

Trumpet Man was my Fan of the Match. He kept us all laughing and contributed well to the atmosphere. He's not another of the Brothers Three? How many brothers are there, by the way, AlianzaFuegoteandBardguy? 🙂

there are five brothers Enger in total. We're still trying to get the fifth away from his family and come. We're also converting "trumpet man" to the forum pretty soon as he is new to message boards. And Trumpet Man is my twin.

Sweet!

Twins rock! I leave my two-month-old twins at home when I come to the games.

At the rate I'm going, I'll have my own five soccer boys soon. I have three boys... the Brothers Montgomery, I guess, including twins... 🙂

We can probably count on at least a couple thousand goats fans at the game, unless they are embarassed by how bad goats lite are.

I could definitely hear the trumpet on the TV broadcast. Sounded great.

Monotone plastic horns--bad.

Trumpet--good. Very good. Hope it's a permanent addition to the Loyalist section.
