Blitzz and Freeze afternoon games always were down from night games in all seasons.

I'll guess 22,500. 3,000 little girls wanting to see Landon Donovan. Screaming everytime he touches the ball.

Evening games are great, especially for families. Families are generally busy on Saturday afternoons: birthday parties, sports, chores, etc.

Dear RSL friends.
As someone that only gets to see MLS via the TV and the beauty that is Direct Kick, I have to say RSL's home games are by far the loudest (with the possible exception of some LA Galaxt games, but not all).
I am so proud that RSL isn't like Chivas USA, CRapids or MetroStars where there is absolutely no atmosphere.
Carry on. :p

Well said. RSL has a true soccer crowd and that's a big part of why we're undefeated at home.

I think someone said it was 18K. I'm not sure if I'm remembering correctly.

18,621. Absolutely top shelf turnout by RSL fans.

I wonder if attendance will wane a little the Wednesday. I think it's harder for people to attend games during the week than on weekends. I'll be there Wednesday though. I predict 15,000 for Wednesday's game.

I'm not making a prediction, as it would be lower than yours and I don't want to jinx us. :o

Let's just say, "We're going to have a crowd", and leave it at that. 😉

As for a work night, I have to get up at 4:00 am on work days, even if I've been out until 11:00 pm at a soccer game, but you don't see me shirking my duty. They need to get their priorities straight! :p
