Let it happen naturally. We don't want to end up like the CRapids. I mean they did have a SC in Denver, called the River Rats of all things, and look where they are now...bottom of barrel when it comes to MLS attendance.

Absolutely!

The Loyalists are THE supporters club for RSL and I expect will always be the gold standard.

When other groups eventually are formed, that will be good for everyone. But the Loyalists were the first to step up to the spot, and many thanks to the original Loyalists who got the ball into the net.

For sure, we'll concentrate on the making the Loyalists as strong and effective as possible.

The other groups at the game included UofU students (North endzone), the UofU Samba Gringa (Southwest stadium with the constant drumming), as well as others. A recent news article mentioned a Hispanic supporters club called Barra Brava.

Each group has their own motives, purposes, etc. But noone ain’t as loyal as we be!

👍

We don't have to worry about membership caps, because as the group gets big enough to require them, the people will be going their own ways, anyway. So we'll lose those who disagree with our goals and continue to recruit those who agree. I think this will be a natural process requireing no artificial caps.

The Loyalists are currently at 118 members and still growing.

I think rather than cap growth we'll start being more picky about what membership is. Perhaps Loyalists will only sit in our section. Perhaps Loyalists will only be season ticket holders.

Or maybe we'll keep on keepin' on. So far it's not broken and kicks serious fanny over the crapids.

The hispanic sc will be in the southeast corner of RES. If there are others then it will let me rest my voice for a couple of minutes. It didn't fully recover until today.

Speaking of Hispanic SCs, did you guys get a kick out of that Hispanic brother who was energized by our singing? He came over to our section, jumped right in the middle of things and started leading us out in cheers -- in Spanish no less!

I'll be interested to see how the Barra Brava does; the Hispanics bring a great tradition of supporting their clubs...

I might even join them...

Due to the fact that I almost always will be attending RSL games with someone with a very short attention span, we will have to head over to the Barra Brava section during one of our Walkabouts.

I was in 2 different supporters' groups when I lived in California, so why not now?

Besides, the Barra Brava will be an endless source of anti-Chivas songs & chants.

No caps but once we get too big then maybe get chapters. Pretty soon we will need a Boise chapter because I have noticed a couple of us northerners posting...

😎

And the Southerners are already (semi) organized. We're way ahead of the rest of you! :p
