I have a low quality video, but I'm not done with it yet. I'm watching it in pieces.

Are the loyalists really general admin? I'd much rather sit over there than where I'm sitting. I just about killed the people sitting behind me. From arguing about whether the ball had to hit the net to be a goal, or just cross the line, to asking their friends "why the he|_|_ don't you play on the reserve team?" or "why the he|_|_ do they throw the ball in with their hands over their head," I about died. They didn't sound like die-hard fans though (crazy as it may seem) so hopefully they won't be there every game.

Actually, those are exactly the kind of people that we need to work on getting converted so that they do come to all the games. If we can get people like that coming back to games, we'll be in excellent shape. I hope that even though they didn't understand the game all that well that they had a good enough time to come back.

What can I add to what has been said but wow! The match saturday was, dare I say it, better than the West Ham vs. Sheffield United FA cup match I was at a few weeks ago. I was pleasantly suprized at the overall soccer knowledge of the crowd (as has been mentioned here and in the local press repeeatedly), and I almost died when they announced 25,000. I wonder what kind of season average we can hope for...15,000? 17,500? More?

I am glad the game ended the way it did, obviously, but one reason is because it would have been kind of sad if it ended in a 0-0 draw....that would just confirm many non-fans' perceptions of soccer as boring and pointless. I think the match this weekend may help to kill that myth in the minds of many.

The Loyalists tailgate party was fun too! And my son and I even got mentioned in the trib article.

Oh my gosh!! I had so much fun!! I'm still singing Ole! in my head. Everybody was so nice and I can't believe all the pictures of Loyalists everywhere. The drums were awesome but then I'm biased because I was a band geek and was insanely jealous of the drum line. The brats... ultimate in tailgate food, even if I had to wolf it. We couldn't have asked for a better turn out, weather and game, it was all perfect. I wish I could go to all the games but that would be difficult since I'm 1200 miles away.

The people around me were probably thinking the same thing about me, with all my jibber-jabber (Mr. T styleeeee) about "losing our shape on the flanks" and "Krispy Kreme" and "when's Fitzpatrick coming in?" and so forth.

Just wait until my dad actually gets to come with me -- his comments on the Crapids' shooting ability when we watched the tape that night were hilarious.

People everywhere will start migrating to the Loyalist section to get away from us. :D

You could become our greatest recruiter! We'll engrave your name in the sidewalk in front of the RSL F/O! New Loyalist will be clammering for your autograph!
