Thanks Remus

I'd like one too, Remus. I'll give you a few bucks or whatever.

I'm all about Tiger Fitzpatrick now -- can't wait until he gets acclimated to the altitude and the team and everything. When he came in and started muscling random Crapids off the ball, my friend said, "yay for Hired Thug!". Thought it summed it up pretty well.

Although my enjoyment of the game was somewhat diminished at times by the Mullet-In-Training in front of me and the seventeen small children he kept trying to smush into approximately three seats, I had a great time. My shoulders and nose now officially match the home shirts, and I have a sweet sunglasses line on my face as a battle scar.

Could yesterday have BEEN any better, seriously?

Concur with all.

Is it just me, or does Tiger remind anyone of Cobi Jones? You know, a bowling ball with legs and power to burn.

Couldn't be happier with the back line, as opposed to last week. Pope was fierce and controlled the air. Rojas shook off a few bad passes and was solid the rest of the day. Dunseth's goal took attention away from some outstanding defense on his part (I'm sure he doesn't mind).

But Rusty Pierce--wow. What a player. I've been watching him play for years but never understood his value to a team. I admit I went the easy route and voted Dunseth as MOTM--well deserved, and that's what happens when you score game-winning goals. But Rusty was the best on the field for the full 90.

On to Dallas now, and a bigger challenge with Ruiz and Johnson. I wasn't sure after last week if we were up to it, but I'd say now that we are.

And, no, yesterday could not have been better. Dream start.

Where in section 25 do you sit? I'm on row 8. The Loyalists are general admin, so I might just sneak over there on the 30th and join the party.

Amen to all of that: Tiger aka "Hired Thug" was fun to watch and I was glad he got in. I didn't have a mullet-in-training ahead of me; it was a "Year of the Mullet" alumnus (aka Loyal1)--think 2002. And going to church today with a cherry nose and sunglasses line was embarrassing to say the least! The good news is that someone came up to me and said, "You must have gone to the soccer game!"

Well, I didn't want to comment on that part of Clarette's post, but he isn't hard on the eyes. My husband gave me a wary look when I mentioned that to him. :D

The women on the Ch. 2 morning news are STILL going off about him, three days later.

Therefore, I decided to give him a special nickname, in honor of his chick-magnet status. :D
