I just heard that Jason Kreis will join the Big Show on 1280 The Zone at about 4:50 p.m. today (Thursday).

Shoot I wish I would have seen this earlier. Did anyone hear it? How did it go?

It turned out to be pretty short, maybe a 6-7 minute interview. I'm actually surprised that they would squeeze him in between all the "Rivalry week" stuff.

Nothing too profound, they asked him how it felt, if he'd ever been to Utah, and just basic things.

One funny part though, they mentioned how Pastorino has said that RSL will be a young team and they will target young players in the league, so how does it feel to be a mentor. Jason hesitated for a minute and said, "What, are you calling me old?" Not a bad interview, but nothing great. At least the team is getting some local pub.

There has been more soccer talk on 1280 this morning: Steve Pastorino and Jason Kreis. I only caught the last couple minutes though. Steve talked about Fro Adu (Freddy's little brother). 🙂
