You need to take another look at your shades of blue.

The Quakes use what is called Royal Blue. Sky Blue is what the fire were wearing on Saturday. It's a lighter blue that is the same color as the sky, hence the name sky blue.

You're right about the smurfs though, they had royal blue skin, not sky blue.

It's lucky that Chicago has that third kit, because what else could they have worn? Dallas is now red and white stripes. The fire's red kit would be too confusing, but so would their white. If it weren't for the third kit, Dallas would be wearing their Away Jersey's for their home opener.
