I'm all for still doing predictions on the board. I've got to keep the number of soccer sites I have to remember to visit to a minimum. Besides, how do we get rep if we limit ourselves to mfls? 🙂

My only question is who does the Fire have to score goals? I can't think of a single goal scorer on their roster...no that Ralph's jumped ship.

I think Chicago will pull the upset because of the following:

1. FC Dallas has gotten all the press lately, and Chicago will be fired up to surprise them.
2. Ruiz just barely got there, so they won't be on the same page yet.
3. In a big rivalry game, anything can happen.

That said, I agree it is a bold prediction. But stranger things have happened, I just decided to go bold!

Fire have one great proven goal scorer, Pablo's fellow Costa Rican Andy Herron.
Other than that they have a few good rookies and Nate Jaqua (yawn).

FC Dallas will win this, I guarantee it!
