"A guy from Costa Rica was interested in Costa Rican players on the team..."

Dave should have suggested he talk with Pablo Brenes...

On the home page of MLSnet.com:

Bramble will stand in the corner for 10 minutes with a dunce cap and then ask if we can still be friends.

Whatever it is, it sounds very positive. It sounds like bringing Garber in town did the trick.

I'm just glad that Bramble actually agreed to meet with them. It's either a sign that he's willing to work with the soccer folks, which would be great, or just a political charade, which wouldn't exactly be surprising. Hopefully we'll know more one way or the other tomorrow.

Its going to be a public flogging of Senator Bramble.

He will write 100,000 times on the chalkboard:

I will never again mess with soccer fans.
I will never again mess with soccer fans.
I will never again mess with soccer fans.
I will never again mess with soccer fans.
I will never again mess with soccer fans.
I will never again mess with soccer fans.

ad nauseum

Bramble is going to publicly announce that he is resigning from his political office and has signed on to be the teams waterboy.

I'm going to email this picture to X-96 radio with the header, "you were saying?"

They have been critical of the idea of any public money being used for the stadium. I've emailed them several times to try and talk some sense into them but to no avail. I've even been made fun of on the air by Bill.

Once they commented, "this team is going to be one gigantic joke." I don't know why they would say that seeing as they know absolutely nothing about sports.

We shall see who has the last laugh though.
