Leo's Pride

This weekend while at the REAL Carnival before opening game, we stopped at a booth, Leo's Pride, that we felt was worth mentioning. Leo's Pride with Kam Kauses blessing, will feature a REAL player raising funds for his charity of choice. Autographed items will be raffled off and presented during half time. Donations are also taken with a BIG thank you. This month's player is Jamie Watson who's charity is United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Dallas. As we were unaware, Jamie has an older brother, Brett, who has cerebral palsy and is wheelchair confined and goes to the Day Rehab Program at UCP every day. This is a facility where peopleof all ages with physical and mental challenges can go for the day to be with others and feel like they have a purpose in life. The pictures we saw were heart touching. Jamie has given alot to the community by way of the reading program in the school, Utah Homemakeover and many other events he attends and supports. Let's support Jamie and all the future players in Leo's Pride.
