Hey everybody,
Feel free to discuss soccer on this forum.

Why am I spending so much time clearing all the porn spam if you guys are just going to talk about the weather?

Anybody got any plans for the week of the home opener?

Not a lot of stadium talk at all here, so I'm doing most of my ranting on other places. Pity about all the spam though. I still feel like spammers ought to be first against the wall when the revolution comes.

From the "If it was not extinct before, it probably is now" department!

Is anyone else even remotely disturbed that there was a sighting of a rare, prehistoric shark off the coast of Japan and that the people that filmed this rare specimen were not happy with simply filming it... they had to kill it?

WTF?

Sad that mankind has such little respect for other species we share the planet with. Just over an hour ago, while carpooling to work, the radio news report was talking about the opposition to the proposed bomb (big strake?) they want to set off in Nevada. I kind of made a remark about the fact that while the bomb is potentially going to detonate in an area away from humans, that a lot of other animals and life-forms would perish.

But why did it need to be messed with at all? Regardless of the fact that they did not shoot it(or otherwise), they killed it by meddling with it.
The film and photos should have been enough.

I am not an environmentalist, ecologist, tree-hugger, PETA type person, or whatever, but the video of the dead "rare" shark laying on that blue tarp really pissed me off!
