RSL still owns J. Besagno's MLS rights, hence the "waive".

MLS rules say that RSL still holds DS's rights for 2 years. Which means if any MLS wants DS now they have to pay up.

There was a time last week when other MLS teams could have gotten him for "free" but none took that option.

It's a shame. He showed so much promise at the beginning of the season. And then the World Cup got to him.
