Elected officials in Colorado have already thrown down the gauntlet at their future opponents, Governor Bill Owens and Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper openly challenging their neighbors.

Somebody get Rocky and Gov. Huntsman on the phone...
We cannot let this go unpunished!

Truth is, I had sent in "Rocky Mountain Cup" as a suggestion, but all the choices were good. However the vote turns out, I'll have no problem supporting the result.

❗

I voted King of the Mountains cup. I will NOT be HAPPY if it isn't chosen! So get in there and vote for it, before I send out Quido!:p

Actually, I think it already sounds like fun, no matter what it is named.

I can't believe that we haven't heard an answer, yet. Where are our representatives, duly elected to protect us from the base slurs and slanders of rival cities and states? 😲 Someone definitely needs to get them on the stick!😉

To be honest, I am sort of disappointed in RSL and us. The Loyalists have been rather slack in talking to the FO about this and in turn RSL has kind of have shunned this competition. Right now the Rapids and their fans are driving this and RSL fans are just watching.

Very sad. 🙁

I am a guilty party here. I'm in the C10 but I'm so frikkin busy with my school and my 3 jobs that I just don't have much time to spend on it! I was thinking maybe I would relinquish my spot on the C10 to somebody with more time. Would anyone be interested in taking my spot?

Ouch. But thanks for telling it like it is.

I'll help in any way I can.

Bill Urban on the USMNT Players Assoc website wrote a whole article about the RealRapidsCup and the Committee of 10 organization.

Good publicity. Where are all the naysayers now?

Great article. It looks as if RSL as an organization and the Loyalists as a suppoter group are on the cutting edge and a model to the rest of the league. And we haven't even played a game yet. :D

I voted for Highland Cup.

I thought since so many were in favor of The Highlanders as the name of the team, that maybe this would give us alittle bit of a "one up" over Colorado.
