I believe it will be a bring your own food, and we'll provide drinks for $0.50 one.

You got half the score right. I wouldn't have thought a clean sheet possible tonight. The fans were great tonight too. Wonderful win RSL!

It's good to see Cabrara in the game. At least that's what the TV graphic said happened. He kind of looked like Soto to me.

Ballouchy played very well controlling the midfield. I thought Williams had a good game too, but Hartman had his number. 3 bullets and a pk all stopped by Hartman.

Finest match played by RSL all season. 80 minutes of excellent play. Only most of the last 10 minutes when the team started to 'bunker' did I get worried. We were just blasting the ball out, giving up corners and throw ins to save, etc... LA was getting quality chances throughout that time.

But, otherwise the match was just plain excellent. Every single player provided good stuff. Some lack of running onto opportunities by Cunningham, Ballouchy, Williams, and Kreis. But they got that together in the second half.

The control of the ball throughout the first half and most all of the second half was unparalleled by any other game this season.

Wow! What fun to be there.

The Galaxy looked like they left their legs in RFK. Or maybe our altitude got to them?

Not only am I your resident Blitzz Apologist, I am your resident Super Tico Apologist. But Soto looks like he still needs work to get back into match fitness.

I don't remember Kreis ever leaving that early. Maybe Ellinger has been reading our posts?

Soto might not have *looked fit* but he did make some plays. He looked to have excellent field sense, clever thinking, creative plays (that cross field pass to Andy was a thing of beauty). I liked what I saw a lot.

As to Kreis... I thought we lost him for the season on that collision. He went down ugly and the way he was rolling around, I thought he tore he knee all up and down. He may have left partly to get him off it quickly after the lead was attained.

And, I *liked* Harris coming in when he did. He was the right answer instead of Watson (and I love seeing Watson come into the game). Harris is big and demands the attention of opponents. He earned a legitimate penalty. Heck, he even played kill the game into the corner once. I coulda sworn he had never considered the idea prior to this game.

RSL had twice as many in attendance than the other 3 matches last night.

14,451 (Salt Lake)
7,858 (Chicago)
6,103 (Kansas City)
4,328 (Denver)

Sad for MLS, great for RSL

unfortunately I wasn't able to attend. I think that is freakin awesome that we came back from that miserable loss and beat Galaxy. I can't stand cobi jones.

As for the team, I only watched the highlights which really didn't tell how well the team played. Based on the posts I've read, it sounds like the whole "team" concept is finally sinking in.

One last observation, why did williams take the PK? Was cunny subed by then?
