It was on this last Wednesday. Check it out from your local blockbuster.

Yes, and it is not coming on in the near future according to my search on Comcast cable. Netflix it.

Actually that was Cosmos VP Raphael de la Sierra who was the "Carpenter and Architect", Ahmet is about 90 so I don't think that is his current job.

😳 Re-broadcast on Oct. 18th

ESPN in the United States is scheduled to re-broadcast Once in a Lifetime: the Extraordinary Story of the New York Cosmos on Wednesday, October 18 at 8-10pm Eastern Time.

The documentary chronicles the rise and fall of the New York Cosmos of the defunct North American Soccer League (NASL), with appearances by former Cosmos stars including Pele, Franz Beckenbauer, and Giorgio Chinaglia.

Once in a Lifetime made its debut in the United States this past summer at selected theatres and aired on ESPN2 on September 20.

Your right. However he is the same guy who made the reference about Giorgio being a carpenter and thinking that makes him an architect.

I found it amusing that de la Sierra, who most likely is Hispanic seemed to have little knowledge about, or passion for futbol....

de la Sierra was/is from Miami, so I think he is probably Cuban or Puerto Rican-American. Most of the people of the hispanic Caribbean islands aren't too much into soccer, especially back in the 70s.
I agree though, I was a little stunned when de la Sierra told the camera that when Ross asked him to VP the Cosmos he never had even seen a game let alone played it.

Another interesting tidbit was comparing Franz to Giorgio. Franz Beckenbauer was major-league class, on the field back in the day and during the interviews. I was very impressed with his interviews.
