I know a lot of people who would have rather have gone to Seattle to see RM play DCU than go back to SLC to see them play RM.

Can't say I blame them for sitting on this for so long, but this FO really is going to squeeze every last penny they can out of Utah before packing up and leaving, aren't they?

After giving millions to billionaire Paul Allen for the Seahawks and whoever owns the Mariners (I'm too lazy to look it up), Seattle politicians are not going along with the Supersonics attempts at blackmail.

By the end of Tuesday nearly 10,000 tickets were sold for the RM/DC United match BEFORE even going on sale to the general public.*

TV and Radio commericials are running locally. Fans from Portland, Seattle and Vancouver BC are geared up.

Expect the match to sell all 65,000 seats by the end of the week!

*4,000 sold on Monday before the ads even hit.

They should be announcing a tv deal in the next day or two.

MLS Deputy Commissioner Ivan Gazidis yestereday said, "We are currently pressing the organizers to make the game available on national television so that fans in the DC area and around the country can see it."
