Wow...

we really are Fake Salt Lake.

WTF was with Dave being on every radio show today but nothing, NOTHING in the weeks leading up to this vote.

I can't believe how much the office didn't really care about this or attempt to show like they cared. Everyone in the FO outside of ticket sales deserves to be FIRED! I'm truely getting furious about how poorly this whole "campaign" was run.

how much assuming was done? There was not one attempt to sway public opinion or educate them. How many season ticket holders did this whole debacle just piss off?

I'm not much for doom and gloom but I've become a realist this week.

so, i've given this some thought. even if rsl stays, i'm not sure how i feel about an owner who pulls out the old "i'm leaving if i don't get this" card. what's next? threatening to leave at this early stage doesn't show a huge commitment to the fans here. i know that he's in this to make a buck, otherwise he wouldn't do it...but at some point you have to be in it for the long hall. wilson's proposal to extend the lease and help subsidize it for a year or 5 sounds better and better. why don't we just do that?

Well I want my $ back that I JUST put down on next years tickets. And I agree the FO needs to be fired (not you ticket reps tho).

It is always possible that I'm wrong, but I think the absence of media was because they were told by people like David Wilde that they had the votes. Usually that type of lobbying is more effective anyway. Today was clearly plan B. It looks like the club really needs our help. I think emails, letters to the editor and flooding local talk radio has to be step one of our campaign. Does anyone have any better ideas?

Stucki, why would this change anything after the fact?

do you realize we were promised talking points back in Feb. we asked the FO for talking points to give the trib/desnews in editorial letters but got nothing from the FO.

the public opinion right now as completely swayed in the court of LHM, and he's truely coming off as the victem here (I have no Idea how he does it).

We also asked for these talking points more than once throughout the pre-season. I don't care if you think you have the 5 votes

YOU STILL DIDN"T HAVE CAROONS! to think you did is just outright crazy talk.

Haven't we been trying to do this for awhile now? The FO has to do this now. They got the team in this hole, they are the only ones with power to get us out.

I understand what you are saying, I too have been victimized by the "we will tell you what you need line." Maybe we should help save the club from themselves.
