FA Cup

Any favorites to win the whole thing?
I don't think Chelsea will.
Man U always has a shot.
I say the smart money is on Nottingham Forest

to not even be in the first division next year.

I'm going with Arsenal.
Anyone dare to dispute me?

Don't think Arsenal will pull it off. This has been a very shaky season for them...

Forest is still alive!
Not so for Chelsea.

Did anyone else se Bergkamp sent off?
Not the correct call I say.
I'm still pulling for Arsenal, but Man U is going to be tough to beat
(unless fans start throwing objects heavier than coins and cell phones)

I was hoping that Fullham would have beaten Bolton since both Boca and McBride are on the team. McBride had one good look at the goal for the 12 minutes he played in.

Oh well!!!!! 🙁

Despite being near the bottom of the Championship (or whatever the first division is called now), Forest keeps on doing well in the cup competitions.
They won a few rounds in the League Cup before losing, and in the FA Cup, they drew at Tottenham yesterday and thus earned a replay in a few weeks at City Ground.

Just wondering, has an English team ever won a cup competition and been relegated in the same year?

The sixth round is set except for Tottenham/Nottingham (live TV Wednesday).
I'm sticking with Arsenal even though half the team is suspended or hurt.

Newcastle United v Tottenham H / Nottingham F
Southampton v Manchester United
Bolton Wanderers v Arsenal
Blackburn Rovers v Leicester City

Considering that AW's having to play the kids up front (thank you, RvP) and the defence sometimes kind of forgets to do important things like mark their players, I'm not feeling terribly optimistic about the Arse seeing the Millennium Stadium this year.

Of course, I'd be quite happy to be totally wrong (I am posting before 10 am again, after all)...
