No, I am not going to go all Libertarian and write a letter saying this is a bad idea. This deal seems to be as good as we are going to get. (When I saw "we", I'm referring to taxpayers.)

Besides, The Realm's shops/restaurants seem like they will be a good place to stop & get a bagel on the way to Snowbird.

You're missing the point jules. Talking about a lack of support and trying to make an effort does little the day after. Then chalking it up to kids makes it laughable. we all have something in the way. Kids, work, school, fandu. The point is you either do it or don't. I don't care what kind of fan you are.

I'm not reading 300 other posts saying, "oh, had I known what little support was going to be there, I would have tried to make a possible maybe an attempt to find some why to make it." (horrible grammar intended).

You either go or you don't. (I will stop posting about this if anyone really cared why Jules wasn't able to go).

This deal is a good precedent to have when the Larry tries to move the Florida Marlins here. MLB would never go a plan where the owner actually spends some of his own money on anything.

The meeting on July 11th is at 1:00 PM. Its best to be there by 12:30. The meeting takes place in the North bldg. There is a huge parking lot on the east side of the bldg. Bring the kids in the RSL gear. Bring neighbors that owe you a favor. Drag all the friends and family you can to this. I understand that there are a lot of ppl that can't get out of work. (hence the reason my hubby doesn't go) but send your wives. If you support RSL having a SSS, please, please, please show up if you can. RSL's FO will probably be sending out another email but spread the word!!!

luvmyboys didn't see it...I did. Laura, Deuce, f4denz and I were sitting in the back row before this thing started. Laura started puting her scarf around her neck and was talking to me when Crockett walked towards the back of the room no doubt to schmooze with some of the folks to the right and back of us. As he made his way up the stairs, he glanced down at Laura putting the scarf on and a huge smirk crossed his face. It was as though he was thinking, "ppsssh, what a tool."
