The proposal now addresses the funding gap. Having to bond $48.5m is what sends the final price tag to $87.5m. That's not to say there aren't some differences in the plans that would make the new one more appealing. But for those who found $90m irresonsible, they'll likely still find that $60m - $75m to be irresponsible. And they may not care that some of it is now Sandy's money versus the county tax payers. I'm not saying that nay of th epoliticians involved are thinking like this. They maybe just be reflecting the comments they're getting from their constituents. But that may be how they're thinking (or not). I hope the new plan gets the support it needs tonight. The team needs a stadium to be able to make money and ensure it remains in Utah.

Wow that was very interesting.

Crockett is an Arrogant ASS!
He obviously has aspirations for higher office... I found his grandstanding quite entertaining... but he is still mega sized twit!

Crockett has a quality that has been lacking in Utah politics... He kind of reminds me of a young Ronald Reagan in his ascertive manner... He will be a force that RSL and Sandy should take seriously...
but once people start to see passed his grandstanding... they will find he is just a windbag with a marginal personality and nice hair!
