My wife was kind of in the same boat. She liked to watch match highlights but wasn't really too excited about having to watch two teams bat a ball back and forth for an hour and a half with the possibility that no one would score, that is until the open house. When she saw a team playing at Rice-Eccles, and sat it what would become our seats to watch it happen, she started to get excited about the prospect of a professional team. Maybe your son just needs to see a game or two to understand how exciting this is, don't count him out yet.

Neil makes a good point.
My mom is definitely not a soccer fan, but when she and I went to Anaheim last summer for the world gymnastics championships, I dragged her to a Galaxy game and she actually enjoyed it. She said she'd even go to some of the RSL games with me. Even if your son doesn't take the ST for every match, you can take a friend or someone.

Thanks to both of you... I won't give up on him. He loved the Blitzz game we went to last year. I worry because he just shrugs it all off when I try to get him excited about RSL. He even laughed at the name ***GASP***
I think once his friends start thinking it is cool he will have a change of heart... I suppose I could get two adult tickets... that way I could take a friend or a work colleague, if he bails on me!
